Sofia, SANA_ President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev has confirmed that Syria is a friendly country with which we have a history of good relations and we respects it.
Receiving the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Sofia to congratulate them and their countries on the new year, Radev said: ” We have a deep understanding of the reality of what is going on in Syria and we have to stand by it,”
Radev, talking to Charge d’Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Bulgaria, Mohammad Mohammad, expressed his wishes for the Syrian people to enjoy security, peace, stability and prosperity.
For his part, the Charge d’Affaires of the Syrian Embassy thanked the President for his good feelings and words, pointing out that Syria appreciates the balanced political positions that President Radev has adopted towards Syria.
