Al-Qaderi: Syrian workers confronted terrorism and unjust siege throughout the years of the crisis

Damascus, SANA- Chairman of the General Federation of Trade Unions Jamal al-Qaderi said that the workers in Syria confronted terrorism and the unjust siege imposed on the country throughout the years of the crisis despite the difficult circumstances and challenges they encountered.

Meeting a delegation from Egyptian General Trade Union of Administrative and Social Services Workers headed by Hisham Farouq, Vice Chairman of Egyptian Trade Unions Federation, al-Qaderi hailed the steps taken to resume production in the facilities and factories.

He pointed out to the importance of the stances of the Arab trade federations in general and the Egyptian Trade Unions Federation in particular which support Syria’s people, army, and leadership in its war against terrorism.

For his part, Farouq said the delegation’s visit comes to improve cooperation between the trade federations in Syria and Egypt and to confirm that the Egyptian people stand by the Syrian people.
