224,105 students start high school final exams in Syrian provinces

Damascus, SANA- 224,105  students started on Monday their high school (Secondary) final exams for the scientific, literary, Sharia, and vocational branches of high school certificate (Baccalaureate certificate) at 1955 exam centers spread all over the Syrian provinces.

Director of the General Examinations Directorate Younes Fati told SANA that the total number of students taking the 12th grade exams is 224,105, among them 75,663 in the literary branch, 115,305 in the scientific branch, 1,829 in religious secondary schools (Sharia) and 31,308 in the vocational branch.

He said that 1955 centers have been prepared for the exams for all branches.

Fati pointed out that the Education Ministry has completed all necessary measures to make the exams process a success.

The exams are scheduled to last till June 12th, while the exams of the Sharia branch till June 18th.
