Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 6 degrees above average as the country is affected by superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy sometimes and rain showers are expected to fall over the northwestern and the coastal areas in the evening while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia (desert) areas.
The wind will be of changeable direction to southeasterly with a low speed and in the evening, it will become southwesterly with a moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 15/5, Daraa 16/6, Homs 17/3, Tartous 20/12, Aleppo 16/3 and Deir Ezzor 19/6.
