Syrian-Jordanian Cooperation in Health Sector

Amman, (SANA)- Syrian Health Minister Rida Said and his Jordanian counterpart Nayef Fayez on Thursday stressed the importance of activating cooperation in the fields of healthcare and combating contagious and endemic diseases.

Both sides discussed means of expanding areas of cooperation, particularly those related to family and society health, reproductive health, heart diseases and medical and medicinal services and policies.

Minister Said later toured a number of health institutions in Jordan including Disease Control Center, Drug and Food Establishment and Prince Hamzah Hospital.
