Syria, Russia- Health Cooperation

Moscow, (SANA)- Syrian Assistant Health Minister Dr. Osama Sammaq on Monday discussed with Russian Deputy Minister for Health and Social Development Dr. Veronika Skvortsova bilateral cooperation in the health and medical therapy fields. Dr. Sammaq stressed Syria's care in developing cooperation with Russia in the health and medical therapy and in upgrading the level of health cooperation to the level of the political cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, the two sides underlined necessity for activating the agreement signed between Syria and Russia in 1999 in the health cooperation and health care fields and agreed on setting executive program to follow up the agreement and push cooperation in this regard forward.
