Damascus, SANA- Under the patronage of President Bashar al-Assad, activities of the 27th scientific conference of Arab Pharmacists Union kick off next Tuesday entitled "The Horizons and the Future of Pharmaceutical Profession".
The three-day conference will be organized by Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate and Arab Union of Pharmacists at Umayyad Palace for conferences in Damascus.
President of the Syrian Pharmacists Syndicate Fawaz Zend Al-Hadeed underlined the importance of the conference in reviewing the latest developments and expertise in a number of Arab and foreign countries in addition to exchanging information.
Zend Al-Hadeed said in a statement to SANA that the conference agenda will concentrate on modern specializations, urgent topics of cooperation in the Arab level and fields of joint work.
The conference will also touch up on the pharmacist's role in modern health care, pharmaceutical technology and the strategies of using medical plants, in addition to the pharmacist's role in facing new epidemics.
The conference will be accompanied by exhibition for Arab and foreign pharmaceutical laboratories.
