Damascus, (SANA)- Minister of Information Mohsen Bilal highlighted the role of media in consolidating the ties and enriching cultural rapprochement between Syria and Spain.

Meeting Chief Doctor of Valencia Vincente Alapont on Thursday, Bilal spoke of the deep relations and the increasing wide-ranging cooperation between both countries.

Alapont stressed the importance to promote cooperation in medicine, referring to the developed experiences and advancements in the medical field available in Syria available in Syria.

Syria and Spain signed a twinning agreement for cooperation in medicine and medical information technology at the 13th Syrian-Spanish Medical Conference for Osseous, Orogolomistician, Cardiac and Digestive Surgery which was held in Palmyra last March.
