Damascus, (SANA)-Syrian Ministry of Health is monitoring the mutation of swine flue epidemic H1N1...Syria will obtain three million swine flue vaccines within days, said Minister of Health Ridha Said on Tuesday.

He added that the number of deaths due to swine flue in Syria has reached 127 people, asserting that the Ministry of Health prepared intensive care units and 100 ventilators, pointing out that the scientific bodies and health organizations confirmed the safety of the vaccine after conducting several clinical trials.

The first swine flue case was detected in Syria on July 4th and the first N1H1death was reported on August 26th. Syria was one of the first countries which asked for swine flue vaccine.
