Damascus, (SANA) – Minister of Health Reda Said called for intensive meetings between Syrian and Turkish health officials to upgrade the quality of health services in Syria and Turkey. At the meeting of the Joint Syrian-Turkish Cooperation Committee on health cooperation protocols Monday, the minister indicated to the importance of such development in parallel to other development domains between both countries. For his part, Turkish Undersecretary of Ministry of Health Nihat Tosun said that health sector needs double interest in both countries; indicating new foundations for a future relationship are to be set to study health requirements and possibility of exchanging experiences and expertise. The meeting comes as a result of what has been agreed upon during the meetings of Syrian-Turkish Strategic Cooperation Council through work groups to follow up studies and set the required strategies.
