Syria National Basketball Team Defeats Algerian Counterpart in Arab Cup Match

Rabat, (SANA) – The Syria National Basketball Team defeated on Monday the Algeria National Basketball Team 107-94 as part of the 19th Arab Cup which kicked off on 15 July in Morocco.

The Syrian team had defeated the Lebanese team on Saturday, and is set to face the UAE team on Tuesday.

Three teams will reach the second stage of the Arab Cup, with Syria's victory against Algeria brining the team one step closer to qualifying for the second stage.
