Syrian and Turkish state TVs shoot 4 Documentaries

Damascus, SANA- Syrian state TV and Turkish Radio Television's (TRT) tourism and documentary channel have recently signed an agreement on the preparation of a series of documentaries and competition programs.

Accordingly, directors of TRT and the Syrian TV will shoot documentaries in each other's countries, Director of TRT's documentary channel Hudayi Yilmazkan said Thursday.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency on the cooperation, Yilmazkan added that these documentary programs will focus on the joint factors in the Syrian and Turkish cultures, indicating that the Syrian TV would provide all the facilities for shooting and preparing these programs.

Turkish Radio Television's (TRT) tourism and documentary channel started broadcasting in October 2009. It broadcasts in English, German, French and Russian languages in Europe, some part of the Central Asia, the Arab region and in North Africa.
