Damascus, (SANA) - Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs Abdullah al-Dardari on Wednesday discussed with Governor of National Bank of Belgium Guy Quaden financial and banking cooperation.

Al-Dardari described Syrian- Belgian relation as profound, calling for upgrading cooperation to include all the developmental sectors.

He pointed to the financial and banking reforms adopted by Syria that could boost cooperation between the two countries, particularly to increase trade exchange volume and sign bilateral agreements.

Quaden, for his part, referred to the social, economic, developmental and financial development of Syria, expressing desire to maintain consolidated relations with Central Bank of Syria.
