Al-Dardari Opens Investment Office in Daraa

Daraa, (SANA)-A branch of the Syrian Investment Agency was inaugurated in Daraa, with the aim of attracting investments and easing measures for investors to establish projects in the province.

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdullah al-Dardari considered the inauguration as a prelude to the Investment Conference in the Southern Region due in May.

He underlined the importance of creating new job opportunities, providing good infrastructure and an effective management, as well as upgrading the monetary and banking policy in Syria.

The investors underlined the importance of granting special prerogatives to investment in the southern area, giving care to developing border regions and supporting the agricultural development project.
