Damascus, Cairo Chambers of Commerce Discuss Cooperation

Damascus, (SANA)-A delegation of Egyptian businessmen on Saturday discussed with Damascus Chamber of Commerce aspects of economic and investment cooperation and means of overcoming the obstacles hindering it.

The meeting touched upon the required mechanisms and means for informing investors and businessmen about the available trade and investment opportunities in both countries.

Vice-Chairman of Damascus Chamber of Commerce Bahaa Eddin Hassan pointed out to the suitable investment atmosphere in Syria in addition to both countries' important geographical location.

He called for activating the work of the Arab chambers of commerce to increase the volume of trade exchange and investments among the Arab countries.

For his part, Vice-Chairman of Cairo Chamber of Commerce Talaat al-Qawas said that the desire of both countries' businessmen to make joint investments constitutes a solid ground for consolidating the bilateral economic relations.
