Syrian-Turkish Economic Cooperation Discussed

Aleppo, North Syria, (SANA) – Investors and businessmen of Aleppo chambers of industry and commerce on Wednesday discussed with a Turkish delegation trade and industrial relations, possibility of exchanging products and establishing joint investment projects.

Vice-Chairman of Aleppo Chamber of Commerce Mohammad Musafa Nasser said that these meetings activate Syrian-Turkish trade and economic relations, calling upon Turkish businessmen to carry out investment projects in Syria and benefit from the advantages and facilities to boost economic and industrial cooperation .

For his part, Vice-Chairman of Aleppo Chamber of Industry Mohammad Sayem al-Daher noted that the good political relations between Syria and Turkey helped meet important achievements and develop a joint regional cooperation program.

He also pointed out to the importance of activating economic and trade cooperation in a way that serves the two countries' interests.

Chairman of Aegean Chamber of Industry Ender Yorgancilar said that businessmen contribute to developing Syrian-Turkish economic relations through exchanging visits and meetings in addition to establishing joint investment projects.

He noted that the visit aims at upgrading the mutual relations to include investment, trade and industrial fields in addition to exchanging expertise and information which could help enhance economic, trade and industrial realities.

Turkish Consul in Aleppo Adnan Kececi pointed out to the importance of Trade and industrial cooperation between the cities of Aleppo and Izmir due to the fact that they have strategic positions in Syria and Turkey and enjoying trade, tourist and industrial advantages which could be invested, calling for broadening the patch of cooperation to cover all Syrian and Turkish cities.
