Lebanon Participates in 13th Arab Businessmen and Investors Conference of Damascus

Beirut, (SANA) – "Lebanon's participation in the13th Arab Businessmen and Investors Conference in Damascus reflects the deep Syrian-Lebanese economic relations. It paves the way for further bilateral cooperation." Lebanese Minister of State Adnan al-Kassar said on Wednesday.

Al-Kassar added that Syria made large economic points, represented in the increased growth rate and the progress achieved in economic and social development process.

He underlined the remarkable development of Syrian banking sector in the light of continuous access of Arab banks to the Syrian Market.

Al-Kassar attributes these developments to the economic reform and modernization process which Syria has adopted over the past few years.

Damascus will host the13th Arab Businessmen and Investors Conference on March 13-14.

The conference aims at briefing Arab businessmen and investors on the positive developments in the national economy, business environment in Syria, and the available investment opportunities in the Syrian economic sectors.
