Damascus, (SANA)- Cooperation in investment, technology transfer and power generation in the Syrian industrial cities and hard waste recycling was the main point of discussion between Minister of Local Administration Tamer al-Hijah and Chairman of Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines Mohammad Parham.
During a meeting on Wednesday, Al-Hijah briefed Nahavandian on the potential investment opportunities including electricity generating projects in the industrial cities, hard waste recycling and cooperation in the fields of sewerage and treatment plants.
He also called for exchanging expertise and enhancing wide-ranging cooperation through chambers of commerce and industry.
For his part, Parham called for activating economic agreements between Syria and Iran and providing the opportunity for companies from both countries to increase cooperation in the fields of engineering services, railways, harbors, airports, tourism and banks.
