Damascus, (SANA)-Chairman of the State Planning Commission Amer Hosni Lutfi discussed with Head of the Near East Department at the European Investment Bank (EIB) Javier Gutierrez Degeneve the joint cooperation and the participation of the EIB in financing the development projects in Syria.

During the meeting, Lutfi pointed out that the cooperation with the EIB is distinguished by clearness, accuracy and efficiency which pushes us toward enhancing this cooperation and developing it in establishing the standing development projects and preparing for future projects to make the development process in Syria a success.

For his part, Degeneve described the standing cooperation between the EIB and Syria as fruitful, pointing out that cooperation between the two sides will include important development, economic and service sectors.
