Damascus, (SANA) – With the participation of dozens of industrial and commercial companies from Syria and Czech Republic, the Syrian-Czech Industrial Businessmen Forum is set to kick off on February 16 at Four Seasons Hotel in Damascus.

The two-day forum is organized by the Syrian Chambers of Commerce Federation, which issued a statement saying that the forum aims at activating relations between Syrian and Czech businessmen and investors, establishing joint investments and partnerships among industrial companies, developing trade exchange, and bolstering Syrian-Czech relations in general.

The Syrian-Czech Economic Forum, which was held on May 19-20, 2008, affirmed the need to develop economic and commercial relations between Syria and Czech Republic and raise trade exchange to match the historic friendship relations between the two countries.
