Beirut, (SANA) – Syria's Ambassador in Lebanon Ali Abdulkarim discussed on Wednesday with Chairman of the Progressive Socialist Party MP Walid Jumblatt the current political developments in Lebanon and the region.

During their meeting at the Syrian Embassy in Beirut, the two sides discussed Syria's role in supporting the Lebanese national resistance and bolstering accord in Lebanon.

Earlier, Lebanese Foreign Minister Ali Shami met Ambassador Abdulkarim and discussed with him relations between the two countries.
