Leon, Mexico (SANA)-Syria's youth delegation participating in the World Youth Conference in Mexico set up a special pavilion for Syria as part of an international interaction forum held on the sidelines of the Conference.
The pavilion exhibits cultural brochures and tourist and historical photos about Syria and its cultural landmarks, as well as the activities of the youth movement in Syria.
On the sidelines of the conference, Chairman of the Revolution Youth Union (RYU) Saleh al-Rashed discussed with Chairman and members of the Central High School in Mexico enhancing cooperation prospects through exchanging delegations, organizing joint activities, stepping up efforts to confront problems of the youth and enhancing their role at international forums.
Syria is taking part in the Conference which kicked off on Monday in Leon by a delegation comprising representatives of the RYU and the National Union of Syrian Students.
The conference discusses exchanging knowledge and expertise and modernizing strategies, policies and programs at all levels, eradicating poverty, gender equality, lowering child fatality rates, improving mothers' health and combating HIV/AIDS.
