Beirut, (SANA)- Secretary General of the Syrian-Lebanese Higher Council Nasri Khouri underlined the need for more efforts to come up with a full vision for the future of Syrian-Lebanese relations.
Delivering a lecture in Damascus on Thursday, Khouri said a promising future lies ahead for Syrian-Lebanese relations, hoping for a common vision on a full package of issues that need to be settled.
The full package should be mainly based on agreement on the underpinnings of the relations between Syria and Lebanon in terms of politics, security and social and economic cooperation.
Khouri said dealing with the relations between both countries should include agreement on a number of points, foremost of which are the Taif Agreement and bilateral agreements.
He said that Lebanon's strong relationship with Syria stems from the common history and interests shared by both countries.
