Syria Participates in Holiday World Fair 2010

Prague, (SANA) – Syria took part in the 19th Central European Tourism Trade Fair 2010 / Holiday World/ kicked off in Prague on Thursday.

Syrian Ministry of Tourism and other six tourism offices participates in the Syrian pavilion.

Visiting the Syrian pavilion, Czech Minister for Local Development Rostislav Vondruska and Chairman of the Czech Social Democratic Party Jiri Paroubek indicated to Syria's efforts to develop tourism sector and the opportunities available to enlarge cooperation with Central European countries.

870 tourism and travel agencies from 48 countries including Iceland, Tanzania and Cuba participate in Holiday World Fair, the largest fair in Central Europe.
