Yerevan, (SANA)- Catholicos of All Armenians Catholicos Karekin II has expressed his pleasure over the holding of the Days of the Syrian Cultural Week in Armenia which started following President Bashar al-Assad's visit to Armenia, the visit which contributed to moving the standing cooperation between the two countries forward.
During his meeting with Culture Minister Riyad Nassan Agha on Wednesday, His Holiness Catholicos Karekin II reviewed the friendship ties linking between the Syrian and Armenian peoples and expressed his amity and faithfulness towards Syria.
For his part, Nassan Agha stressed the necessity for bolstering bilateral ties in all domains, particularly in cultural field.
