Occupied Jerusalem, (SANA)
Grand Mufti of the Occupied Jerusalem, Sheikh Mohamed Hussein, on Sunday appealed to Arab and Islamic leaders and peoples to save Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque before it is too late.
The Mufti said that the declaration of a Jewish project, which aims at Judaizing Jerusalem and fragmenting the Blessed Aqsa Mosque, is in fact a kind of aggression because al-Aqsa Mosque is entirely for the Muslims, and people other than Muslims should not interfere in its affairs.
The Mufti called on the Palestinian people to unite in order to defend Jerusalem and the sanctities and rights of Palestinians, pointing out that this current state of internal fragmentation is one of the major factors which helped occupation be arrogant in dealing with the Palestinian people, demanding the world to act to stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and its sanctities, warning of the risks and repercussions of abusing the Blessed Mosque of Aqsa.
