Czech Prime Minister stresses necessity for boosting Syrian-Czech Relations

PRAGUE, SANA_

Former Czech Prime Minister and Leader of the Social Democratic Party in the Czech Parliament Jiří Paroubek has stressed necessity for boosting the Syrian-Czech relations.

He described Syria "as a traditional partner for his country".

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague befor heading to Damascus Monday, Paroubek called for enhancing relations with Syria and the Middle East, asserting that his party supports the EU exerted efforts in finding solution to the Middle East problems and extends humanitarian and developmental aid to the Palestinian people.
