Damascus, (SANA)-Participants at al-Quds Conference for Palestine Youth discussed the dangers facing the Holy City of Jerusalem and the meanings of al-Quds (Jerusalem) International Day.
The Conference is organized by the Palestinian youth organizations and the Students and Youth Work Commission at the Palestinian-Iranian Friendship Association in Yarmouk Refugee Camp, marking al-Quds International Day.
They stressed that holding the Conference on al-Quds Day reflects the Palestinian youth interest in the day, which considers Jerusalem a fundamental symbol in the struggle against the Zionist entity which seeks to judaize the city and obliterate its cultural and historical identity.
The participants described the direct talks with Israel as futile, aiming at polishing the occupation's image and providing a cover for its crimes.
They underlined the importance of spreading the culture of resistance among Palestinian youth against US and Zionist attempts, seeking to ruin the minds of the Arab youth.
The participants hailed the Palestinian people's sacrifices for liberating their lands and Syria's support to their struggle.
