Damascus, (SANA) – Rector of Damascus University Dr. Wael Moalla on Wednesday discussed with Rector of Jordanian Balqa University for Applied Sciences Abdullah Srour al-Zoubi and Chairman of Institution of Organizing Radiation and Nuclear Work Saned Dababneh means of scientific cooperation.

The two sides discussed the preparations for the Peaceful Application of Nuclear Energy Conference due to be held in Damascus next December which will focus on the peaceful applications of nuclear energy and benefiting from other countries' experiences in this field.

Jordanian University of Balqa, Institution of Organizing Radiological and Nuclear Work and the Atomic Energy Commission of Syria will participate in the Conference.
