Long-lived in Hassaka dies, leaving 187 sons and grandchildren

Hasaka, northeast Syria (SANA)- The long-lived Osman Ibrahim Ahmad, aged 125, died in al-Saadiyah village in Hasaka, northeast Syria, leaving 187 sons and grandchildren.

Mohammed, son of Osman Ahmad who was born 1936, said that the Identity Card of his father dates back to1885, pointing out that his father had enjoyed strong memory until his death.

Mohammed added that his father had enjoyed good eyesight and hearing and he didn’t smoke throughout his life. He has 10 children, 66 grandchildren, 111 grandchildren.

Mayor of al-Saadiyah village, Mohammed al-Audeh al-Attiyb, said there is lot of people over the age of 100 years in this family, as the aging died at the age of 130 while his father died at the age of 100.
