Damascus, (SANA) - President Bashar al-Assad sent Thursday a congratulatory cable to President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia on National Day.

In the cable, President al-Assad expressed, on behalf of the Syrian people and on his own behalf, heartfelt and best wishes to Presidents Ben Ali and the brotherly people of Tunis.

President al-Assad also sent a congratulatory cable to President Hifikepunye Pohamba of Namibia on National Day.
