Syrian-Chinese Relations Discussed

Damascus, (SANA)-Assistant Regional Secretary of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Mohammad Said Bkheitan discussed on Saturday with Vice Minister of the International Department at the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Li Jinjun partisan relations and means of expanding them.

Bkheitan hailed China's stances and those of the Chinese Communist Party at international forums in support of Syria's right to restore lands and rights.

He referred to Syria's role in achieving security and stability in the region, adding that al-Baath Party is committed to expanding cooperation prospects with the CPC and to exchange expertise in the strategic interests of both countries.

For his part, Jinjun called for deepening friendship and cooperation ties between the two parties and peoples. He also called for expanding future coordination prospects in view of the common denominators between Syria and China.

He stressed China's support to Syria's right to restore Golan, commending its pivotal role in achieving security and stability in the region and the world.
