Damascus, (SANA) – The bilateral relations between Syria and Russia and ways of developing them were reviewed on Thursday.
During a meeting between Vice President Farouk al-Sharaa and Head of the Organizational Committee of Syrian-Russian Friendship Association Alexander Dzasokhov, both sides discussed the latest developments in the region and the current international challenges.
Later, in a statement to SANA reporter, Dzasokhov said talks dealt with means of utilizing the potentials of the two countries to boost economic and cultural cooperation.
He noted to Syria's stances in the regional and international arenas and its key role to preserve peace and stability in the region.
