Syria and France Discuss Organization of Illegal  Residential Areas  in Syria

Damascus, (SANA) – Minister of Local Administration Tamer al-Hejjeh discussed on Wednesday with Regional Coordinater in Syria and Lebanon of the French Devleopment Agency (AFD) Philippe Lecrinier and the accompanying delegations means for developing cooperation in the field of organizing illegal residential areas  in Syria.

Minister al-Hejjeh pointed out that his Ministry made significant strides in cooperation with the AFD and can now begin with the executive steps for planned projects in cooperation with European Investment Bank, particularly since the AFD opened an office in Damascus recently.

For his part, Lecrinier expressed the AFD's readiness to cooperate with Syria in organizing random housing, noting that the Agency had a similar experience in Tunisia that can be used in Syria.
