Damascus, (SANA)-Syrian renowned actor and director Hani al-Romani passed away on Monday at 70 of a chronic pulmonary disease.
Dr. Bashir Khankan said al-Romani died when his heart and breathing stopped as a result of a chronic pulmonary disease. Al-Romani was born in Damascus in 1939.
His work coincided with the outset of the TV and cinematic work in Syria. He was a former MP. During his artistic life, al-Romani shot a number of TV series and films such as ''The Borders'' and ''Abu Kamel''.
