NPF: Israeli Threats Reflect Hostile Nature of  Israeli Anti-Peace Policies

Damascus,(SANA)- The Central Leadership of the National Progressive Front (NPF) discussed during a meeting held at noon today under the chairmanship of NPF Deputy Chairman Suleiman Qaddadh the latest political developments on the Arab, regional, and international arenas.

The central leadership discussed the Israeli threats against Syria, reflecting the hostile inclination that exposes the reality of the Israeli anti-peace policies which have been built on the occupation of the Arab territories , stressing that any hostile act will be retaliated properly.

The NPF listened to a comprehensive political report presented by Vice President, Farouk al-Shara , in which he reviewed the details of the current political scene .

The leadership found in Syria's active political movement on more than one level an expression of the Syrian active and influential political line that corresponds to the higher national and pan-Arab interests. T

It also underpinned the importance of improving the general Arab climate and reviving and activating solidarity to meet the standing challenges and providing the opportunities for the success of the forthcoming Arab summit.

The leadership reviewed the economic situation and listened in this regard to a report presented by Prime Minister, Mohammed Naji Otri, in which he reviewed the most important achievements and investments which have been attained in all branches of the national economy during the past stage .

The NPF underlined the importance of overcoming all the obstacles whereby the national economy can reach the aspired goals , expressing support to the government's approach to include all the workers of the state in the health insurance program.

The leadership highly valued President Bashar al-Assad's policy which aim at furthering the position of the homeland and the citizen and for defending the interests of the people and the nation.
