Damascus, (SANA) – Minister of Higher Education Ghiath Barakat and Head of EU's Tempus Unit Klaus Haupt on Monday discussed cooperation programs during the next stage to achieve national priorities and to improve education process.

Barakat stressed the need to evaluate programs carried out in Syria during previous stages and to make use of successful experiences in identifying and overcoming weakness points.

The two sides agreed on setting the appropriate mechanism to develop the education sector, pointing out to the necessity of activating media and marketing aspect of the program's phases and outcomes.
