Damascus, (SANA)-An official source announced on Tuesday that Syria denounces the latest violations of the safety and sanctity of Saudi Arabia's territories, and rejects harming the Kingdom's security and citizens.

The source said that Syria supports Saudi Arabia's legitimate right to defend its sovereignty and the safety of its territories.

It added that Syria expresses hope to contain this crisis as soon as possible, in the interest of security and stability in the region.
