Syrian Pearl Airlines Company receives its first rented plane

DAMASCUS, (SANA)-Syrian Lou'loua (pearl) Airlines company on Sunday received the first of its rented PIA planes of 96 passengers.
"Syrian Pearl Airlines will help the Syrian Arab National Airlines meet the increasing demand on the aviation movement from and into Syria, particularly in light of the National Airlines establishment's incapability to cover the demand due to the decrease of its fleet," Minister of transport Yarub Badr said in a statement.
He added, "Pearl Company will run its flights into the destinations that the Syrian Airlines couldn't reach."
Abdul-Rahman Al-Attar, Chairman of the Boards of Pearl co. said his company would work through its regular flights and its integral role to the Syrian national Airlines, adding, "The rented plane is currently run by a Spanish staff, and the Company will launch a training program for the Syrian staff."
