Al-Mikdad discusses with Iraqi Minister of immigration the situation of Iraqis in Syria

DAMASCUS, (SANA)-Deputy Foreign Minister Fayssal al-Mikdad discussed Sunday with the Iraqi Minister of Immigration Abdul-Samad Rahman Sultan bilateral relations between Syria and Iraq and the situation of Iraqi refugees in Syria.

During the meeting, Dr. al-Mikdad briefed the Iraqi Minister about the efforts exerted by Syria to provide good life needs for the Iraqi refugees, underlining the importance of the Iraqi government, international community and all sides concerned to assume responsibilities and help provide the Iraqi refugees with basic needs until their voluntary return to their homeland.

The Iraqi Minister thanked Syria for her efforts to meet the Iraqi refugees' demands and the big burdens it bears to host this big number of Iraqi refugees, underlining full coordination with Syria to provide them with basic life needs.
