Damascus, (SANA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Ottri discussed on Wednesday with Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivaylo Kalfin relations between Syria and Bulgaria, stressing the mutual commitment to developing them in various fields.

Talks dealt with means to boost bilateral cooperation between Syria and Bulgaria in economic, industrial and cultural fields, the bolstering of businessmen's role in developing trade relations, and establishing investment projects and partnerships.

For his part, Premier Ottri praised Bulgaria's stances in support of Arab causes.

In turn, Minister Kalfin expressed his country's appreciation of Syria's stances and pivotal regional role, affirming Bulgaria's support of Syria's efforts for achieving security and stability in the Middle East and establishing just and comprehensive peace.

The meeting was attended by the Bulgarian Minister in Damascus and the delegation accompanying Minister Kalfin.
