DAMASCUS, (SANA)-Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Ottri on Sunday discussed with Sudanese Industry Minister Jalal Youssef al-Daker cooperation between Syria and Sudan and means of enhancing it in all domains.

Ottri underlined Syria's commitment to the unity and stability of Sudan and support to the development and construction process witnessed in Sudan.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed preparations and measures adopted to hold the Syrian-Sudanese higher Committee in its next session in al-Khartoum.

The Sudanese Minister briefed Ottri on the latest developments in Darfur and the efforts exerted to settle problems there, hailing Syria's stances towards Sudan and its stability.

Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Husni Lutfi attended the meeting.
