DAMASCUS, (SANA)-General Commander of the Army, President Bashar al-Assad on Monday attended an executive tactical project carried out by one of the armed forces' units. 

The President listened to a detailed explanation on the phases of the project and its aspired goals and results where the soldiers and officers showed a high competence while performing their duties.

The presence of President al-Assad comes as a crowning of his permanent keenness to pursue the trainings of the armed forces and as an encouraging move for them to intensify the utmost efforts to maintain high performance and readiness to defend the lands and deter any aggression on the homeland.

At the end of the project, President al-Assad praised the efforts exerted by the soldiers to make this project a success, giving his directives to continue training to promote high performance.

The Army Chief of Staff, General Ali Habib and a number of high-ranking officers received the President upon arrival.
