Damascus,(SANA)- An official source has announced that Syria expresses regret and denunciation of the fabrications and forgering of facts campaign which is being launched by the current American administration against Syria with regard to the existence of nuclear activities in it.

The source said in a statement issued on Thursday night that while Syria categorically rejects the American allegations , she underlines that such a US. administration campaign is fundamentally aiming at deluding the US. Congress and the world public opinion by allegations to give an excuse for the Israeli raid on Syria in September last year.

The source added :" This administration as it seemed was a party in carrying out the raid , and it is clear that such a move by the American administration comes in the framework of the negotiations connected with the Korean nuclear file."

The source added that Syria demanded the United States to act with responsibility and to stop fabricating more crises in the Middle East which has been already suffering from the repercussions of the failure to the American policies in it , expressing hope that the International community , and the American people in particular, are more knowledgeable and careful this time in dealing with such baseless allegations.
