Governor of Quneitra Riyad Hijab presented an overview to the Committee, highlighting the suffering of citizens in the occupied Golan where the Israeli occupation authorities adopt barbaric measures against citizens.
In this regard, Hijab cited the case of the 2-year-old baby Fahd Louai Shkair, who was placed by the Israeli occupation under house arrest for being born in Syria.
The Committee listened to five witnesses from Golan who spoke about their suffering as a result of the Israeli practices that jeopardize their lives posed by mines and explosive devices, as well as the burial of lethal garbage in their lands and stealing their lands and water.
