Quneitra, (SANA)- Syrian Minister of Information Mohsen Bilal opened Thursday Broadcasting and Television Center in Quneitra Province on the 35th anniversary of the liberation of Quneitra.

In a press statement following the inauguration ceremony, Bilal said that the center basically aims at reporting the agonies of people of the Syrian occupied Golan falling under Israeli oppressive, barbaric and racist practices as well as reporting the real image of the liberated city and the just cause Syria is defending.

The Minister stated that this step came in the framework of the Ministry's plan to develop information and media, considering the significance of Quneitra province and the Golan cause.

The center which includes a montage room, a broadcasting studio and a T.V. studio provides weekly one-hour live broadcast with news coverage reporting activities in the city. /Our Golan/ show will be set up and broadcast on the Second Channel.
