Rehabilitation works launched in 33 Basic Education schools in Hasaka

Hasaka, SANA – Hasaka Education Directorate, in cooperation with United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), began rehabilitation and maintenance works in 33 Basic Education schools.

Marwan al-Sweileh of the Directorate said in a statement to SANA that the maintenance works include repairing doors and windows and rehabilitation of sanitation utilities.

He noted that the Directorate is currently preparing the technical studies to rehabilitate 50 other schools in the areas from which terrorists were expelled in the countryside of the province.

In 2015, more than 100 schools were rehabilitated across Hasaka province.
