Thursday weather forecast: relatively hot, temperatures above average

Damascus, SANA – The temperatures continue to rise gradually to become 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is being affected by a superficial Indian seasonal low air pressure accompanied by a tropical high pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general and the weather will be relatively hot, while it will be misty in al-Badiya “desert”, al-Jazeera and the eastern areas.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be of low amplitude.

The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/20, Aleppo 38/22, Homs 36/19, Hama 39/22 and Lattakia 33/23.
