Four civilians killed, over 40 wounded in terrorist attacks in Daraa and Homs

Daraa/Homs, SANA – Four civilians were killed and 40 others were injured in terrorist rocket attacks in Daraa city on Tuesday.

Rockets were fired by terrorists positioned in al-Nueimeh town and al-Nazihin Camp on the neighborhoods of al-Kashef and Shamal al-Khat in Daraa City, located in the southern Daraa province.

Director of the Daraa National Hospital Walid al-shnnour told SANA reporter that the bodies of four people were admitted to the hospital, in addition to 40 wounded people.

He noted that six children and three women were among the injured.

On Sunday, two children were killed and four were wounded in a terrorist rocket attack on al-Kashef neighborhood.

Terrorist blast in Ikrima neighborhood in Homs city, a child injured

In another context, a terrorist blast took place in the vicinity of Sahara commercial compound in Ikrima neighborhood in Homs city, leaving a child injured.

SANA reporter said the blast, which was caused by an explosive device placed in a car, also caused material damage in the site.

The neighborhood has been repeatedly attacked by terrorist organizations with car bombs and rocket and mortar shells.

The latest such attacks was last January, when  a car bomb explosion hit al-Hadara Street in the neighborhood, leaving 6 civilians dead and dozens of others wounded.

In October 2014, at least 30 people were killed and over 115 others were injured, the majority were children, in twin terrorist bombings that targeted a school compound in Ikrima.
