Measles vaccines delivered in Moadamiyet al-Sham subusrb

Damascus Countryside, SANA – The Health Directorate of Damascus Countryside delivered on Saturday amounts of measles vaccines in Moadamiyet al-Sham enough to all children under five living in the suburb.

The vaccine delivery came in the framework of a national anti-measles vaccination campaign that was launched by Health Ministry last week. The campaign will last until April 30 and targets 2 million and 670,937 children in all provinces, focusing mainly on children living at makeshift centers, that host families displaced by terrorists.

In mid-August last year, the Ministry, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, delivered 4000 doses of vaccines in Moadamiyet al-Sham to immunize children against serious childhood diseases.
